Question by ♥ I love my Puppy!!♥: A question about Roses. Growing and Mixing?
I have owned 3 of the Black Jade Mini Roses but they have all died. I took excellent care of them but I still have no idea why they die even when I take care of them. There is a Rose Show coming up in June and I would really enjoy entering a Black Jade. I just want to know, has anyone else had a hard time growing this breed of rose? Is it a rose that takes alot of time and gentle care? Any tips are appreciated.
Also, I wanted to know about creating new breeds of Roses. Sorry I can’t remember what it is called, but I know how to mix the breeds and I want to know if it is a good idea. Has anyone done this before and if you have, do some mixes become harder to care for than others? Can you name it and create more and possibly show them? I just thought of it a while ago and it came up again and I am just curious. Again, any help is appreciated.
Graphting! Thats what it is called. Where you grapht two rose stems together. Is that better or is cross pollinating easier?

I could write a long long page about growing roses but you would be better to go to library or purchase a book on how to. They have charts and many important issues covered that would take a full page here.
