Question by Trish: is this a good recipe for compost?
I just bought a compost bin and based on ?s thative asked here and researched online I came up with this recipe (below) BUT some of the things I’ve read are contridictory so if you see something on this list that doest belong here let me know PLEASE!
dead leaves
Dead flowers
Kitchen scraps (no meat!)
Expired fruit
Egg shells
Used tea bags n coffee grounds
Banana peels
Apple cores (ect)
The rotten bananas that fell behind my frisge 3 weeks ago (yuck!)
The used newspapers at the bottom of my guniea pigs cage w his pee n poop on it (double yuck!)
Old dirt from last years flower pots
Anything here that should be stricken from the list?
Anything that SHOULD be here bc you know for a fact it works like a charm?

Thanks Marta! And for anyine else that reads this there’s 2 other things I forgot about!
1- am I supposed to put worms in it? Can I? Do they just show up on their own?
2- will this attrack water bugs or la cok a raches? (Roaches)

Yes! I have tried all of this together and it works great. Last year was kind of a hum drum summer for growing tomatoes so I was told about this. I was so happy when my tomatoes grew, huge! Best ones on the block! You wont be sorry, just keep a little moisture in the compost. Good Luck!
