Question by cherie: I planted a climbing rose on the corner of a fence. It is growing nicely and flowering beautifully.?
For winter do I have to cut it back to the base or can I let it continue to climb the fence? I live in SW Pennsylvania. We get a good amount of snow and it gets pretty cold.

dont cut it

all u need to do is make sure it gets water and sunshine

during the winter it will appear dead but it will blssom back when the time comes for it

u dont cut down trees in the winter time cuz the leaves fall off. u leave em and let nature do its thing!
