Question by ~*Mrs. GM2*~: Question about growing roses?
I wondering if it is possible to train roses to climb trees? Also, I am looking for varieties of roses that would be good for the following:
To climb an arbor (preferably lavender colored or light pink)
To climb a single story house (preferably pink, peach or white, maybe yellow)
To climb a tree (preferable pink, white or red)
Also – how do you train roses to climb and how can I get roses off to a good start after planting? I live in zone 5.

Climbing roses or a different kind. When selecting your rose make sure the tag says climbing and not bush. You can train it to climb anything. Under a tree is useless since roses need at least 7 hours of sunlight. Before planting place bare rooted plant into bucket of water with root starter then you plant them, fertilize them
